Release Notes on Version 1.1.1 Feb 12th 2007 ************************************************************************** Modulator instruments i47 and i48 have had serieous bugs. They should work now. W has been fixed to a constant of 0.707107. The result is just a saving of calculation power as the former varying W to make the overall sound intensity constant did not lead to any other result, due to an error in my orc. My listening tests have shown, that this varying W would have been not desireable anyway, even if it had worked. Minor bug-fixes regarding the correct writing of the name of a soundfile. Release Notes on Version 1.1 March 26th 2006 ************************************************************************** more delight, more convenience, more reliability more time for music: A setting for sr=48000 has been added to the Reverb (inst.60) which makes it possible to use the sample rate of 48000 hz for the whole collection of instruments now The angle/ elevation of the Spatial Global Reverb (inst. 66) has been changed to radient (¸-expression of the angle/elevation) instead of degree. Spatial Global Reverb (inst. 66) runs faster now. Some nasty bugs in inst. 75 (specular early reflections) that caused severe impulses at certain positions of the sound have been eliminated. For both, the specular (inst.75) and diffuse reflections (inst.74) the method of muting reflections behind the sound -source got reworked. 24 bit output is now possible with setting giformat=8, at least with ma++'s version of csound and csound 5 For convenience the format, filename and kind of header can be set as a global setting at the header of the orchestra. On inst. 40 (x-,y-,z- reader) a 22nd p-field has been added for reasons of consistency. It makes the modulation of z possible, according to the modulation of the elevation in instr. 46 A limit in instr. 50 (soundfile reader) prevents extreme changes in pitch caused by the doppler effect which else might result in strange clicks, pops and disalignment of tracks.
