The Institute for Computermusic and Sound Technology ICST (Zürich) releases Ambisonics Externals for Max/MSP. "ambiencode~" encodes n audio-channels in up to 3rd order ambisonic b-format. Further Max/MSP externals for Ambisonic encoding are also released by Graham Wakefield.
The eqations for encoding for first, second order can be found on Richard Furse’s page . Encoding with Csound is quite simple, just use the encoding-equations and transfer them into a Csound- Orchestra. Richard Fuse has done an example for Csound and the text- driven programme V-Space”.
